Joe still mourns the day he had to retire his flip phone. It wasn’t fancy, but it never let him down. It was basic, easy to understand and had but one job, one it performed with steady reliability. Those same standards guide Joe’s work with his clients and shape his choices outside work. Room by room, floor by floor, and learning as they go, Joe and his wife are patiently restoring a century-old town home in the historic Freemason neighborhood of Norfolk. Joe indulges his year-round passion for physical fitness by playing softball, water polo and racquetball.
